Franklin is from Caracas, Venezuela. Franklin is one of the few successful Venezuelan Djs in the US east coast and the only one in the Boston area.

In 1995 Franklin in his native Venezuela began to have interest in DJing, “I always admired how a DJ took everyone on a special ride through his music creating a joyous feeling and unforgettable memories for party goers.” As a partygoer himself, he enjoyed those experiences often and began to realize that he wanted to be a DJ. Franklin felt so strong about his desire to become a DJ that he went out and purchased a DJ setup and began to practice at home. After practicing for a while he became good at it and he was well on his way to becoming a DJ.

In fall 1997 Franklin moved to the Boston area to pursue a college degree in Political Science at Umass Boston. He began to hit the local clubs and enjoy the parties while his desire for being a DJ kept growing. While in school Franklin purchased a DJ setup similar to the one he left back home to keep his DJ skills sharp and hoping he would get an opportunity to display those skills.

While in school Franklin began to meet other frequent party goers and began giving away mix tapes and cds he was making at home. One of those cds fell in the hands of 2 legendary Boston DJs, DJ Manolo & DJ Anthony. Impressed from what they

heard, Anthony met with Franklin and offered him to come along with him to a brand new club called Embassy that was about to open up.

Franklin tagged along with his mentors DJs Anthony & Manolo(Avalon Resident), he was given the opportunity that he so much desired and did not disappoint. Franklin was mainly a Latin DJ, in a short period of time he began to have a following of fans of his music and style.

"Franklin began spinning Latin music when he came to Boston 5 years ago. As he became familiar with the scene, his style broadened to International, Euro-house and Arab beats. A political science student at Umass, when he's not on decks you can likely find him hitting the books." -Ego trip magazine September 2002.

While his skills where sharpening and his following was growing he began to receive offers to spin at different clubs. Franklin was well on his way to becoming a well know DJ in Boston. Franklin held residencies at Embassy(Thursdays), Venu(Tuesdays), 4 years at Il Panino(Sundays), Club Nicole, Aria, Mantra, Metropolis(Providence, R.I.), Privilege at La Boom, Caprice(current), Whiskey Park, Sofias, Mantra, Gypsy Bar, Underbar(current), Guest at Tantra(Miami), Guest at Passion(Ft.
